Danish modern furniture took shape in Copenhagen: Kaare Klint began teaching furniture design at the Royal Danish Academy in 1924, and from 1927 to 1966 the city's Cabinetmakers' Guild held a yearly exhibition where architects and cabinetmakers showed new pieces together. The city still has the makers' showrooms and dealers in original pieces from that time. 5 places, chosen by Klára and checked by the editors.
